Naomi Gebremariam currently serves as the Chief of staff for M.Y.S. Firm. She is a dedicated member of the community with a passion for advocacy and community empowerment. She previously served as a District Representative in the Office of Congresswoman Susie Lee. Naomi managed a diverse portfolio encompassing environmental issues, labor rights, public lands, African American and Indigenous affairs, faith-based initiatives, and gun violence prevention. With exceptional organizational skills and a strategic mindset, Naomi identified and implemented action plans to support the Congresswoman’s priorities in Nevada Congressional District 3.
Prior to her role in Congresswoman Susie Lee’s office, Naomi served as a Legislative Assistant at the Legislative Counsel Bureau in Carson City, Nevada. In this position, she conducted extensive research, monitored legislation, and maintained legislative calendars for members of the Nevada State Assembly during Legislative Session.
Complementing her government experience, Naomi has also contributed to the private sector as a Case Manager at Bridge Strategies in Las Vegas, where she coordinated and provided essential care to Southern Nevada’s immigrant community during the pandemic. Additionally, she served as a Community Outreach Coordinator for Assembly District 42 in Las Vegas, cultivating relationships, and enhancing visibility within the local community. She also, served as the Political Assistant to elect Attorney General Aaron Ford during the 2018 Election cycle. With a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Maryland, Naomi possesses a strong academic foundation that underpins her commitment to empowering and serving the community.
In addition to her academic and political experiences. Naomi enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, admiring sunsets, and most of all trying new Sushi around the Las Vegas valley.
