Working as the inclusion lead on the project, Ms. Silva explains, “In support of Hunt-Penta V, a Joint Venture, M.Y.S.’ role within the LVCC Phase III project is to develop and implement a tailored Inclusion Program to ensure that Senate Bill 1 goals are attained or exceeded, that Local Minority/Women/Veteran-Owned businesses’ engagement is optimized, and that the local community stays informed and involved. Our goal is to go beyond opportunity matching; we plan on not only engaging small and diverse businesses (S/DBs) who are currently ready, willing, and able to do business, but to also make educational and professional development resources available to help S/DBs with their next step, regardless of what stage they are in their journey”.
