African American Youth Marijuana Prevention Campaign
It's Clouding Your Future
“It’s Clouding Your Future” is a tailored media marijuana prevention marketing campaign targeting African American youth ages 12-20. Visual elements of the brand were directly inspired by commentary received during youth focus groups and interviews. The logo reflects the concept that smoking prevents clear sight, making it difficult to navigate towards a goal. MYS concepted the brand guidelines, images, messaging resulting in a successful social media campaign and public toolkit.
Multi-Cultural Elementary School Peace Program
I'm a Quality Kid
“I’m a Quality Kid” is a school program for 4th through 6th grade students that helps to build positive character traits to create more peace in their lives. The students are taught qualities of peace that serve as tools in everyday life situations. MYS is responsible for the logo, packaging, flyer, and social media image design elements which are centered on a multicultural theme.
Latina Youth Program Branding & Handbook
“Quince Adelante” was sponsored by nonprofit organizations in an effort to cultivate economic, educational and cultural prosperity in the San Diego community by promoting academic achievement and “life skills for success” among low-income Latinas. Designers at MYS worked with the organizations to produce a brand identity and life and financial skills workbook for youth, facilitator guide, as well as related print collateral and promotional materials.

United States Air Honor Guard & Truckee Meadows Mental Health
United States Air Honor Guard is a military service organization and an auxiliary branch of the United States Air Force that provides honor guard services for the armed forces and their families. Truckee Meadows Mental Health provides veteran focused mental health services with the mission to empower veterans – in and out of uniform. MYS is humbled and proud to have had the opportunity to develop the logo, business card, letterhead, and envelope design.
American Indian Veterans Event Marketing
Cesar & Helen Chavez Memorial Bench
National American Indian Veterans (NAIV) is a National Non-Profit organization that advocates for Native American Indian Veterans. NAIV dedicated the Cesar & Helen Chavez Bench in the California State Capitol Park. Supported by his wife, Helen, Union leader and labor organizer Cesar Chavez devoted his life to improving treatment, pay and working conditions for farm workers. MYS worked with the NAIV to develop event design and social media marketing for the dedication event.
Diversity Event Planning & Design
Business United In Long-Term Development (BUILD) supports the growth and welfare of minority communities by championing the use of minority-owned businesses through the advancement of procurement opportunities. Member organizations include the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council (WRMSDC), the Womens Business Enterprise Council West (WBEC), the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC), and the Urban Chamber of Commerce (UCC) all of which MYS dedicates in-kind hours to support. This includes event planning, sponsorship acquisition, online marketing, and graphic design.
