MYS Project & Brand Management announced that it has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council – West, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC’s stringent national standard of certification requires in-depth review of a business as well as a site inspection. The process is designed to confirm that the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and managed by a woman or women, with documented evidence of contribution of capital and/or expertise.

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.

WBE status can assist in sourcing contracts with both national and regional corporate members which include corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies. Laura Silva, Creative Director and Managing Member of MYS Project & Brand Management stated, “MYS looks forward to the opportunity to serve a broader community that takes an interest in working with women-certified businesses.”

WBE certification adds to MYS’ growing list of designations and is the seventh certification achieved within the past two years.
